The First Debate

September 30, 2004

Only five questions in, and the Bush website has more than 70 rebuttals to Kerry’s comments.
Kerry’s website has one lame attempt at a rebuttal, claiming the “10 million Afghans registered to vote” is impossible.
How pathetic.

Real Men Don’t Brag

September 29, 2004

The following arrived as an e-mail today. Like all other such letters, it has taken on a life of it’s own, circulating around the odd corners of the Internet, appearing in Usenet posts and inboxes as it struggles to make its voice heard. And as with all such letters, the original author has long since [...]

Honoring Deserters

September 26, 2004

The Canadian town of Nelson, British Columbia is planning “a two-day festival and a larger-than-life monument” — in honor of American draft-dodgers who fled their native soil and sought refuge in our socialist neighbor to the north.

You Don’t Know What You Don’t Know

September 17, 2004

Senator Kerry today claimed that President Bush doesn’t “really know what’s happening” in Iraq:

While Bush has been campaigning as the best candidate to deter terrorists and protect the nation, his presidential rival portrayed him as out of touch with a serious and dangerous situation in Iraq.
“With all due respect to the president, has he turned [...]

Six More Reasons To Vote For Bush

What an interesting juxtaposition of stories on Drudge tonight:

GIRL CRIES AFTER BUSH/CHENEY SIGN RIPPED BY THUGS…

Three-year-old Sophia Parlock cries while seated on the shoulders of her father, Phil Parlock, after having their Bush-Cheney sign torn up by Kerry-Edwards supporters on Thursday, Sept. 16, 2004, at the Tri-State Airport in Huntington, W.Va. Democratic vice presidential candidate [...]
