Reuters: Bush Responsible for New Orleans Chaos
Written on September 4, 2005
We’re back! Unfortunately, Hurricane Katrina has destroyed New Orleans, and this is truly a terrible time for the many people caught in the storm’s path. Renee and I have lived through many hurricanes, and Renee in fact spent a week in a storm cellar living off soup and crackers in Bermuda after a hurricane came through. This is an incredibly horrible tragedy, and our prayers are with the families that will never again be whole, either through death or permanent separation from children who cannot be identified.
However, what good is a disaster if it doesn’t give the media the chance to bash Bush? Thanks to Charles and his Lizard Army you can check it out, straight from Reuters.com:

The story will probably change in the near future, but as of right this minute it is still up as you see above.
What’s hilarious is that we now know Mayor Nagin fled like a coward and left the majority of New Orleans’ poor black population to die like dogs. He failed to follow the long-established evacuation plans and left 255+ school buses to rot. (here, here, and here) Those buses could have evacuated over 16,000 people before the storm hit. Now he is screaming the loudest about how Bush failed New Orleans because he knows he’ll be torn from limb to limb if and when the public finds out what really happened.
He’s sort of like Saudi Arabia. What a unbelievable bastard.
