Ralph Waldo Emerson on Heroism, the eternal Promise of the Republic, and the character of great leaders:

The Father of Modern Terrorism is dead, and not a moment too soon.
CAMERA has a list of Key Events in Yasir Arafat’s Terrorist Career — more than eighty terrorist attacks and massacres.
Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has a list, too:

When fighting a desperate war, the cause is best served when one employs tactics that have been proven effective. In recent days, the terrorists in Afghanistan have shown that they acknowledge the need to step up the level of [...]

“With all due respect to the president, has he turned [...]

The Kerry campaign has admitted that Kerry may indeed have received his first Purple Heart for shooting himself during a non-combat action:
GARRETT: “And questions keep coming. For example, Kerry received a Purple Heart for wounds suffered on December 2, 1968. But in Kerry’s own journal written nine days later, he writes he and his crew, [...]

Hackworth’s latest column is a carefully disguised hit piece against Swift Boat Veterans for the Truth. “Carefully disguised” because he couches it in the language of the war-weary veteran who only cares about the welfare of “his” soldiers. He even praises President Bush for flying F-102 fighter jets — though he does call him a [...]

Muqtada Al-Sadr, the Troll of Najaf that openly mocks the Coalition and the Iraqi government, should be dead by now, gristled into martyrdom in a hail of TOW missiles. Unfortunately, it’s not that simple.
Al-Sadr is a tool of the Iranian mullahs, a fact that is blatantly obvious to everyone — everyone, that is, except the [...]
